Kido is a desktop application for documenting child development in daycare centers. It is used by educational professionals in the preparation and follow-up period – after all children have left the facility. By providing the previously analogue documentation forms in digital form, kido enables educators to save considerable time and effort which is better spend in interacting with the child.

1. Observation 

With the password-protected kido app, observations can be recorded quickly and securely directly with your smartphone.

2. Interpretation and analysis

When these observations are saved, they are automatically imported into the educators personal to-do list and can be documented immediately during the preparation and follow-up periods they have for every child.

3. Team analysis and offers

The observation, which all authorized colleagues have access to, is analyzed in collegial exchange. kido proactively suggests suitable educational offers for the child based on their discussed interests and abilities.

This procedure is essential for the individual support of the children and, with the help of kido, can be carried out entirely within the paid working hours of the teachers, who are unfortunately mostly understaffed.

kido provides all important information, data and analysis about the children of the facility structured and clear, so that the teachers no longer have to search through folders and documents to find the information they need. So it not only saves time, but also space for storing the children’s documents as well as tons of paper for multi-page copies of the observation sheets.
